The owners of Mekano AB and Mekano i Sävedalen AB have signed an agreement to sell 70% of the shares in Mekano AB and 100% of the shares in Mekano i Sävedalen AB, to Momentum Group Komponenter & Tjänster Holding AB. RosholmDell assists the sellers in connection with the transactions and closing is planned to mid-February 2021.

Mekano AB was founded in 2010 by Ola Jönsson, one of the current co-owners of Mekano AB, who after a few successful years with leading positions at i.a. Elektro-Dynamo AB, AxIndustries AB and Momentum Industrial Supply AB, chose to start his own business. In 2013, Mekano i Sävedalen AB was established as a complement to Mekano AB and in 2019, Mekano AB was awarded the Di Gasell award, a prize awarded by the magazine Dagens Industri to Sweden’s fastest growing companies.

Mekano AB and Mekano i Sävedalen AB conduct business in technical component sales and industrial services and provide their customers, which mainly consist of industrial companies, with everything from maintenance services, repairs, emergency services, technical component sales, installation, and training. Today the two companies are among Sweden’s leading suppliers of products and services within industrial services and will be included as independent companies within the Momentum Group’s business field, Components & Services. The companies have a combined turnover of approximately SEK 145 million and approximately 85 employees.
